I would like to bring the following recommendations of the 6th pay commission to your attention.

Chapter 2.2.8, Page No.38

The commission is recommending introduction of running pay bands for all posts in the Government presently existing in scales below that of Rs.26000(fixed).Four distinct running pay bands are being recommended-one running band each for all categories of employees in groups ’B’ and ‘C’(posts in the scale of Rs.5000-8000 have, as a result of delayering and elongation of certain scales, been placed in Group ’B’ with two running pay bands being given for all Group ’A’ posts.

Chapter2..2.19, Page No.45

Scales of Rs.5000-8000, Rs.5500-9000 and Rs.6500-10500 have been merged to bring the parity between field offices; the secretariat; the technical posts; and the work shop staff. This was necessary to ensure that due implementation is given to the levels concerned with actual delivery.

Chapter 3.4.7, Page No. 186,12th line.

The commission recommends that all posts in Subordinate Engineering cadres carrying minimum qualification of Diploma in Engineering for direct recruits and having an element of direct recruitment should be placed in the running Pay Band PB-2 of Rs.8700-34800 along with a grade pay of Rs.4200 corresponding to the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.6500-10500.

Friends,

Our current IDA scale Rs.7100(S-9) is equivalent to the CDA scale of Rs.5000(S-9).As per 6th pay commission, diploma cadre scale should be increased to Rs.6500(S-12).Corresponding IDA scale of S-12 is Rs.9850.i.e the current scale of JTO. As per the commission JTO’s scale can be increased to S-13. i.e. Rs.7450-11500 of CDA scale. (Chapter 3.4.7,page 186- all posts in Subordinate Engineering

cadres carrying minimum qualifications of a degree in

engineering and having an element of direct recruitment should

be placed in the running Pay Band PB-2 of Rs.8700-34800 along

with the grade pay of Rs.4600 corresponding to the pre-revised

pay scale of Rs.7450-11500.)

The Central Government has already implemented the 6th pay commission report.We have the right to get the same scale of Government employees.Unite and try for it

CPSE 2nd pay revision recommendations

Dear Friends

As per the 2nd pay revision recommendations the categories A,B,C,D all will have the same executives scales below the board level excutives. Directors and CMDS will have higher pay as per the gradings of CPSE. The recommendation of Pay Committee for different pay scales for different categories has been rejected by the Cabinet. This will severely impact the wage negotiations of Non_executives as because the approved uniform pay scales for Executives is very less as compared to the recommendations of Pay Committee. The recomendations are as follows.
